This photo was taken late in the afternoon in late January 2013, from Notthill, Penmaen, at NGR SS5344088562. It had rained for most of the afternoon and I'd almost given up on seeing any sunlight and gone home, when the clouds suddenly parted to the west. I like this black and white version as the textures and tones don't have to compete with all the colours in the original. Canon EOS 600D, Canon EF-S 17-85mm lens at 24mm, Manfrotto tripod. Exposure F8 at 1/30 sec. Original image in Raw format.
