I went for a walk along the Gower coast east of Mewslade on a grey afternoon on 5th March 2023 and returned to my car ready to drive home, when I noticed a slight brightening on the western horizon. I drove to Rhossili just in time to capture this image (at NGR SS4144288122) during a few precious seconds of soft sunlight before the sun finally disappeared. Canon EOS 7D, Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens at 19mm, Manfrotto tripod. Exposure F11 at 1 second.
