Pwlldu Reflection (AW2212a)

Taken on Boxing Day morning 2022 at NGR SS5758587185, looking from the mouth of the Bishopston Stream towards the Ship and Beaufort cottages, former pubs serving the men who worked on the limestone quarry at Pwlldu in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. On this occasion, the stream was impounded by the ever-changing bank of pebbles at the top of the beach and the valley was flooded by recent heavy rain, creating a small lake to reflect the morning light from two houses. Canon EOS 7D, Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens at 50mm, Manfrotto tripod. Exposure F11 for 1/25 seconds.
