I walked to the end of Whiteford Point on a miserable March afternoon, with constant horizontal rain all the way. The forecast looked promising though and the first sunlight broke through just as I reached the bay at the north end of the point, creating a beautiful glow on the dunes and wind-blown sands against the dark sky.
