Cilycwm is three miles from the market town of Llandovery and within easy reach of Dolaucothi Gold Mines, Dinas Nature Reserve and the Brecon Beacons. It is a peaceful rural village with a pub that serves good food. The beautiful surrounding countryside is excellent for walking and bird watching in particular. Many superb beaches, including those on the Gower Peninsula, Pembrokeshire and the West Wales coast can also be easily visited within a day.

The cottage has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with a single bed, plus an extra foldaway bed. The kitchen is well equipped, with an electric stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and everything you need in the way of pots and pans. There is also a bathroom with electric shower, dining room and a lounge, with a colour TV, DVD player and both a coal-fire and electric heater. An immersion heater provides hot water. Parking is available at the front of the cottage and there is enclosed garden at the rear of the cottage, with a barbecue and garden furniture. Pets are welcome.

Rental costs from £200 to £380 per week including towels, bed linen and table linen. There is an electric meter that takes £1 coins. The caretaker lives nearby and should be at hand if any queries arise during your stay.
