Pentre Ifan burial chamber (AW307)

This photo was taken early in the morning on 4th June 2012 at SN0994937011, near Newport, Pembrokeshire. According to the Cadw website, Pentre Ifan is a "chambered tomb of the so-called 'portal dolmen' variety, dating to the Neolithic period". The woodland behind is Ty Canol National Nature Reserve. Canon EOS 40D, Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens at 22mm, Manfrotto tripod. Exposure F11 at 1/50, 1/25 and 1/13 secs manually combined. Original image in Raw format.
