This was taken in the evening on 27th April 2013 at SS5442188492. The ruins of Pennard Castle are in a spectacular location overlooking the valley and pill that leads into Three Cliffs Bay. These ruins date back to the late 13th or early 14th century, but the castle was abandoned by the end of the 14th century due to sand encroachment.
