Maen Llia is an ancient (possibly Bronze Age) standing stone near the source of the Afon Llia, between Fan Nedd and Fan Llia in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Afon Llia soon joins the Afon Mellte, which flows through Ystradfellte before joining the Afon Nedd. According to a legend, the stone goes to the river to drink whenever a cock crows.
