Not wanting to miss the snow, I took the afternoon off work on 11th December 2017 and drove to Llandeusant, then up the lane towards Llyn y Fan Fach. This lane was very icy and I probably shouldn't have gone there without a 4x4, as I discovered when I tried driving back and only just managed to make it up the steepest section after several attempts. I just stopped at this spot (NGR: SN 80251 21940) for a rest and took a quick photo as a souvenir, not really thinking much of it, but this turned out to be one of my most popular photos on Facebook. Canon EOS 7D, 10-22mm lens at 19mm, F11 at 1/250 secs, Manfrotto tripod.
