Llanmadoc Church (AW1609a)

This photo was taken in the evening of 16th September 2016 at NGR SS4392993425. I'd walked to the end of Whiteford Point without taking the camera out of the bag and was probably less than 100m from the car when I noticed this composition. This was just a test shot (hence the less than optimal camera settings) and although I then set up the tripod and changed the settings, this was my favourite photo from the evening. Llanmadoc Church was originally built in the 13th century and dedicated to St. Madoc, although much of the present building dates only as far back as 1865. Canon EOS 7D, Canon EF-S 17-85mm lens at 41mm, hand-held. Exposure F5 at 1/1600 sec (ISO 1600). Original image in Raw format.
