Taken around mid-day in late October 2010, at NGR SN7414477050, after a ride on the Vale of Rheidol Railway from Aberystwyth. Devil's Bridge spans the Afon Mynach, a tributary of the Afon Rheidol. It comprises three bridges built on top of each other, the earliest of which was completed at the end of the 12th century. According to a legend, the Devil had agreed to build the bridge in return for the soul of the first living thing to cross it, but was tricked by a woman who threw bread onto the bridge so her dog was the first to cross it.
