My earliest memory of walking in snow was a climb to the top of Cribarth with my parents and brother in the early 1970s. I recently found some photos from that walk in my parents' attic, including one of this view taken by my father, which prompted me to do the same walk again on 14th January 2017. This is the view north up the Tawe (Swansea) valley towards Fan Gyhirych from NGR SN8315314408, with the top of Cribarth behind me. Canon EOS 7D, Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens at 22mm, Manfrotto tripod. Exposure F11 at 1/30 sec.
