Bannau Sir Gaer, The Black Mountain

Bannau Sir Gaer (AW125)

Taken around mid-day in late November 2008, from NGR SN8176221911, looking west past Bannau Sir Gaer (part of The Black Mountain) towards the Sawdde and Tywi valleys in Carmarthenshire. I've always been intrigued by the snake-like feature at the base of the escarpment, which looks man-made but is apparently of glacial origin. Canon EOS 40D, Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens, Manfrotto tripod. Exposures F8 at 1/15sec & 1/60sec combined. Original images in Raw format.
